Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.” ~Ashley Smith~

The "J's"

Saturday morning it was a tad cool and slight sprinkling, but not enough to hold up another session! This morning I was meeting the Joyce family...Jeremy, Jennifer and Joshua! They arrived at our planned location, ready to go and although Joshua, three, wasn't sure he was going to like this and seemed to think he didn't want to smile, I managed to get some pretty cute smiles from him! Of course, being "three" means you do what you want when you want...which is challenging for me, but as I've said before, I always love challenges! My husband is GREAT at entertaining the kids and today he didn't let me downn(he never does). And although by the end of the session we were all a bit cold...it was great fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the family and hope they will like the shots I got!

What cute pictures! Capturing the excitement of the little guy! I love the picture of the parents watching their son from afar! Great pictures Terri! Something the family will treasure for sure! I can't tell the weather was giving you any challenges in the pictures. Great work!

No one who hasn't tried it knows how hard it is to manage the expressions and reactions of people you are trying to take pictures of, at the same time you are operating the camera. It seems so simple until you try it. Thank goodness you have an able assistant, but I also know you are good at this when your assistant isn't there!
I always find myself getting irritated that people don't just arrange themselves for pictures I'm trying to take of them. Better stick to landscapes and macros, I guess!

Brenda and Karol...thank you both for your kind comments...I do hope that my sessions capture some special memories for my families...I do love what I do and although not always as successful as I'd like to be, I do my best to get some fun shots for the clients!
